Our Mission Statement

St. Albert Day Care Society is a non-profit organization of parents and interested community members committed to the principle that our programs afford a safe, healthy, nurturing and stimulating environment in which care is provided by competent, professional caregivers.

Benefits to Children

Our programs strive to develop the total child. Play is the work of children. They facilitate development and learning in a play setting, nurturing the social, emotional, physical, creative and intellectual growth of the child.

We accept each child as a worthy person, recognizing different developmental levels, in a safe, nurturing environment. The goal for guiding children is to promote self-control, encourage independence, enhance self-esteem and encourage care for others.

Weekly program themes facilitate learning through exposing the child to new concepts as an integral part of their play.

Benefits to Parents

Staff at our day care centre understand your schedule. That is why we are here from 6:30AM to 6:00PM so that you do not have the added stress of getting to work late or leaving early.

We provide 2/3 of the children's nutritional requirements in accordance with the Canada Food Guide to ensure your child gets healthy snacks and a full lunch daily.

We encourage parent involvement on our Board of Directors and through various activities. Parents are partners in their child's care.

Subsidies are available through the provincial day care subsidy program.
